TORONTO, ON — At this year’s Ontario Association for Mathematics Education (OAME) conference, Rubicon and Marian Small officially launched Open Questions, two new teacher resource books for K–8 math. Over the May 7–10 weekend, Rubicon introduced Open Questions to math teachers and professionals from across the province. Marian Small was also a keynote speaker at this year’s conference, and was on hand for two Open Questions book signings.
Open Questions for the Three-Part Lesson: Number Sense and Numeration books are organized around expectation clusters from the Ontario curriculum and include questions for the different parts of the three-part lesson. The Open Questions books offer support for teachers in the Number Sense and Numeration strand of the Ontario curriculum. The books can be used on their own or as a supplement to the upcoming digital resource MathUP.
