Calling All Math Teams and Teachers! Take a break from winter and make a splash at our MathUP Winter Institute in Niagara Falls.
Here’s what you can look forward to.
With a focus on differentiation and purposeful practice we will explore:
- Developing Numerate Students: Moves you can make, using MathUP Classroom and MathUP Student, to develop more numerate students.
- Teaching with Intention: Use MathUP Classroom and MathUP Student to ensure students “hear the message” you are trying to get across.
- Assessing What Matters: Ensure that assessments of your students are as reliable and informative as possible.

- A full day of learning and networking in Niagara Falls, plus lunch

Speaker: Marian Small is an internationally renowned mathematics educator, author, and professional learning consultant. Dr. Small, whose career in education has spanned more than four decades, is considered one of the most influential math educators in Canada. She has authored or co-authored more than 100 math resources and travelled to mathematics classrooms around the world to provide consultation focused on improving understanding and performance in K–12 mathematics.
