Savvas Essentials Foundational Reading  Blended K–2 Supplemental Foundational Reading Curriculum

Rubicon, a Savvas Company, is proud to introduce Savvas Essentials™ Foundational Reading © 2023 to Canadian educators. Aligned to the Science of Reading, Foundational Reading is a blended K–2 supplemental curriculum that targets concepts of print, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and the teaching of high‑frequency words.

Foundational Reading offers two flexible pathways to support teaching and learning: choose to teach all foundational reading skills as presented, or choose to pull content from specific strands as needed to support and enhance core literacy instruction.
