Deep Dive into MathUP Classroom in British Columbia

Educators in British Columbia should log in to the National Edition of MathUP Classroom. You will find content tailored to align with the BC math curriculum when accessing the Topic Planning dropdowns.

BC Financial Literacy notes appear where appropriate throughout three-part number lessons to cover those learning standards.

MathUp has provided rich lessons that have helped me find more ways to teach for deeper conceptual understanding. The integration of such a wide variety manipulatives and tools has allowed for students to think more and make sense of key concepts, and it helps me better understand how to use the manipulatives as well! MathUp is more than a collection of lessons – it’s a source for timely professional development, it’s a way to create a community of math learners, and it’s a resource that empowers both teachers and students in how they can move forward in developing a positive relationship with math.”

— Tawnie Hildebrandt, Curriculum Department
