  • Autoscorable practice provides instant results to students and question analysis for teachers.
  • Skill and Concept practice questions provide students with additional opportunities to reinforce their learning.
  • In Short … Videos and associated questions are approachable and give parents/caregivers access to what students are learning.

MathUP Student Frequently Asked Questions

Is MathUP Student a separate login/Licence or included with MathUP Classroom?

MathUP Student is designed to complement MathUP Classroom with additional, interactive practice, approachable videos narrated by Marian Small, and built-in virtual manipulatives from Brainingcamp.

Teachers with MathUP Student licenses can access MathUP Classroom via a seamless LTI integration. Once students are rostered in MathUP Student, they can log in to access the questions, videos, and digital manipulatives.

What will teachers see for their students' results on the autoscorable skill practice?

Students work directly in the digital environment to answer autoscorable skill questions. After answering each question, students receive instant feedback, and teachers can see their results through teacher dashboard reports. These reports allow teachers to understand how their students are engaging with the content. Feedback is meant for assessment as learning and assessment for learning to inform instructional decisions.

Where can MathUP Student be used? Will it be available in French?

MathUP Student will be available in English in time for the 2025 school year. The French version will be released on a rolling basis between September 2025 and May 2026.

For the French version, we will use the same process as MathUP Classroom, where student-facing materials will be translated into French and reviewed by French-language speakers.

How does MathUP Student protect student privacy and data security?
